After reading the lesson on the characteristics of a healthy diet, you now have a basis for analyzing nutrition information for its credibility and/or reliability. The goal of this assignment is to find and report on some unreliable nutrition information which you have had experience with, either personally or through reading a book, newspaper, magazine Web site, or viewing on TV. If you need some help in where to look, here are a few suggestions:

o TV advertisements
o popular magazines, especially the ones in the checkout lane in a grocery store
o popular Internet search engines, like Google or Ask.com
o book reviews

For your assignment, include the source of your information and a brief, 2 paragraph summary (~300 words) of what you found and how you know what you are reporting on is an unreliableproduct and/or information.

Remember to be informative and succinct and to support your answers with facts.
