A 12-year-old is tried and convicted in adult court of premeditated murder. He is sentenced to death when he reaches 18 years of age. Do you think this is right? Provide analysis and arguments to defend your stance.
John Wilkes (1725-1797, England) wrote pamphlets lampooning King George III and Prime Minister George Grenville. King George did not like the attack, and he issued a general warrant that led to Wilkes's arrest for seditious libel.
The warrant allowed the Crown's forces to search all of Wilkes's property and confiscate and destroy his property without trial as mandated by English law.
The Fourth Amendment of the U.S. Constitution was written as a direct result of King George's issuance of the general warrant.
Analyze the impact of constant improvements in surveillance technology used for monitoring every communication system used by citizens.
