As of 2024, the Advisory Committee on Immunization Practices (ACIP) recommended that people who are 6 months or older receive the COVID-19 vaccination.
Mandatory vaccination is a controversial strategy that pits healthcare professionals and personal autonomy against patient/public safety and employee relations.
