This announcement includes a number of clarifications for your second project: a Privacy Impact Assessment of Carbon Black Products.

As Carbon Black offers a number of different products, you should pick two of the following three to evaluate in your PIA: (1) CB ThreatHunter, (2) CB Protection, and (3) CB Defense.

You can use any of the model PIA templates provided, but each submission must include:

(1) analysis of the relevant privacy risks of the selected Carbon Black products,

(2) a recommendation on whether or not Acme Dynamics should implement the products in the U.S. and/or the EU, and

(3) a one-page executive summary for the Acme Dynamics Board and C-Suite.

When evaluating the European use cases, you should analyze for privacy risks under the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR). You do not need to examine any EU Member State-specific laws in your PIA.

Your final PIAs should be at least 1,300 words, not including your references or footnotes.
