1. Introduction and motivation

The SD Shipping register (Register No: ZFBL5N) report enables monitoring of coal sales to external customers and intercompany sales. The main purpose of this report is to provide the business with all the sales related information to facilitate EOM (Emphasis of Matter) and audits. It is important across several parts of business (i.e., Marketing/Logistics, Commercial teams, etc.) to report on the company's sales with an ability to track completed shipments for auditing purposes. This report acts as a reliable single source of information to enable EOM(Emphasis of Matter) process automation and weekly reports.

The purpose of this project is to perform research on the business with all the sales related information to facilitate EOM (Emphasis of Matter) and audits.

2. Problem definition

Issues which are highlighted by Bahn consulting Pvt Ltd are:-

- Report sales to include the Bahn Intercompany sales processes
- Outstanding SR (Service Request) requests to improve EOM(Emphasis of Matter) processing & report accuracy

3. Review of literature and related work

Several Process manuals and documentation reports related to company's sales provided by Bahn Consultancy Pvt Ltd.

Several web sites have been identified that can be documented.

4. Proposed methodology

The following sequence of steps is proposed:

1. An analysis of existing paperwork used and the documentation of the tasks currently involved in the Business with all the sales related information to facilitate EOM (Emphasis of Matter) and audits.

2. From this analysis a data model representing a database suitable to support the business will be developed and a series of data flow diagrams showing the processes involved and their interactions will be developed
