You are requested to choose ONE financial institution operating in Oman and critically study the operations of the chosen institution. You are expected to VISIT the chosen financial institution on your own and complete the tasks outlined below. The chosen institution has to be approved by the Module Instructor. It is suggested that your VISIT to the chosen financial institution may comprise of but not limited to spending quality time in the institution to observe the operations and interacting with the stakeholders formally and informally.
Outline for the preparation of report:
a. Discuss about the institution:
i. Origin and major milestones of the institution
ii. Key personnel
iii. Current status in the Financial Market (No. of branches, revenue generated, profit achieved, no. of employees, competitors etc...)
b. Evaluate the Products and/or Services:
Choose FOUR of the products and/or services offered by the institution
i. Analyse the features of chosen products and/or services
ii. Evaluate the processes, procedures and documentation involved of the chosen products and/or services
iii. samples of application forms, brochures, handbills etc... about the chosen products and/or services
c. Evidences of your visit to the chosen financial institution and proof of interaction with the stakeholders of the institution like photos, Questionnaires used for interviews or interactions etc...
Guidelines:
a. Report should contain all the points from the above mentioned outline
b. Not more than 1200 words
