Span of control describes the number od subordinates who report directly to each manager. A wide span of control means that one manager has many subordinates. A narrow span of control menas that 1 manager has few subordinates. It is important that a balance be maintained to utilize management appropriately & to ensure unity of command.

Explain the span of management principles & discuss the advantages & disadvantages of the project management structure.
