Requirements for the Assessment
Requirements for the Assessment You will be assessed on your ability to develop and deliver both a comprehensive management report and a narrated PowerPoint presentation within the field of business management.
For your project, you will select one company from a curated list of 20 organisations drawn from the FAME database. This list changes each iteration and shares a common thematic focus. The FAME database serves as a reliable source of secondary data to support the business problem you choose to investigate. It is accessible to all Edinburgh Napier students via the library page.
Only companies listed on the SOE11445 MBA Project Moodle page for your iteration are eligible for selection, no others may be used as the project basis. You may incorporate additional companies or relevant secondary data to provide context, such as competitor analysis, financial scenarios, or industry outcomes.
Your project will integrate academic, grey, and practitioner literature to address a real-world business problem aligned with your MBA pathway. All project titles require approval from your supervisor. Importantly, this project is based entirely on secondary data; no primary data collection is permitted. Get top-notch online assignment help.
The accompanying PowerPoint presentation offers a concise overview of your project. It should clearly demonstrate how you approached the project, share key insights, and present outcomes. Due to the individual nature of each project, there is no prescribed format for the presentation slides.
However, your slides must be narrated in a recorded presentation, and you will receive support within the module to develop your oral communication and presentation skills.
Both the written project and narrated presentation are assessed according to the detailed marking rubric, which should be used to guide your work and understand the weighting of each component.
The MBA Project and PowerPoint with recorded narrated presentation must use the APA 7th style for referencing.
