A student pulls (parallel to the incline) on a rope attached to a box of books and moves the box up an incline at 12 degrees with the horizontal. If the box starts at rest at the bottom of the ramp and is pulled with a 185 N force and Mk = 0.27 what is the acceleration of the box up the ramp? Can I find the answer without knowing the mass of the box?
