A flow of water travels through a large pipe. In the water are pellets of plastic which float to the top, and smaller shards of plastic that flow throughout (basically don't float). The pipe empties into a large pond. How would I come up with a solution that separates the floaters from the smaller pieces? Basically I want to keep the pellets in the pond and get rid of the shards.
