If the string is wrapped to the pulley and a downward Force is applied to the string, the pulley rotates, is the friction between them static? What is the torque applied to the pulley? Tension times radius of the pulley? Is that actually the friction exerted to the pulley times the radius because friction = tension? Why? Thank you!
