A 10.00-meter-long pipe, closed at one end, was inverted and submerged vertically in a Minnesota lake until the closed end was even with the lake surface.

a) How high (in meters) does the water rise inside of the submerged pipe?
b) What is the final pressure (in bar) of the trapped air inside the submerged pipe?

(Assume the atmospheric pressure at the lake's surface is 1.000 bar, and the temperature is constant at 4.00oC (remember it's a Minnesota lake), the density of the water is 1000. kg/m3, and the acceleration of gravity is 9.806 m/s2. Ignore the vapor pressure of water and assume the trapped air behaves ideally).
