Development of a Right Cone:

Development of a right circular cone is a sector of a circle containing a radius equivalent to the slant height of the cone and an arc length equivalent to the circumference of its base.

Procedure

 (a) Get radius as slant height S of the cone and sketch an arc.

 (b) Mark an involved angle on the center equal to (r/ s) × 360^o, whereas r is, radius of the base and S is, the slant height to finish development.
