V-Block
V-block is made up of cast iron or heat-treated steel in a broad range of sizes. They are machined with a 90° V-shaped slot on the top and bottom.

V-block is displayed in diagram. Some V-blocks are provided along with U-shaped clamps to hold the work-piece securely. They are utilized for laying out round work and to hold it for machining.
