Equivalent Fractions:
An equivalent fraction is a fraction which is equal to another fraction.
Example:
2/3 = 4/6 = 6/9
A fraction could be changed into an equivalent fraction through multiplying or dividing the numerator and denominator by the similar number.
Example:
2/3 . 2/2 = 4/6 because 2/2 = 1, and 1 x any number = that number
A fraction might be reduced through dividing both the numerator and the denominator of a fraction by the similar number.
Example:
6/8 = (6/2)/(8/2) = 3/4
