User Compatibility & Appropriateness of Inputs and Outputs

User compatibility - this is the degree to which the machine works towards task completion in way that suits the user. The interfaces are simple and suitable, information is easy to retrieve and store.

Appropriateness of inputs and outputs - the data going in and information coming out should require the least (or no) prior or further manipulation by the user to make it suitable for the IS to handle or for the ultimate end-user. If an electronic input of weight is input to the IS by a sensor in the form of a voltage, the IS should be able to interpret this input type and then output the required information in a form that the recipient wants.
