Types of Touch panels

1) Electrical TSS: Wire grid or the other conductive coating is utilized to specify a voltage drop at the point touched point from that the position may be found.

2) Electro-Mechanical TSS: A plastic or glass sheet along with strain gages placed around the edges records the location through the relative magnitude of the deformation of the a little bent plate.

3) Optical TSS: Infrared light from LED that is light-emitting diodes, along two perpendicular edges of the screen and detectors beside the opposite edges give an invisible optical grid, along with reference to that the finger's position is established.

4) Acoustic TSS: Impossible to hear high-frequency sound waves are emitted with two perpendicular edges and then reflected to the emitters through the finger; the echo interval is utilized as a measure of the distances from the edges.
