Strength of Concrete at the Transfer Stage
Concrete strength in the member at the transfer stage should conform to the design requirements. The frequency of the sampling and the number of cubes to be cast for this purpose has to be decided by the engineer-in-charge. Sampling of concrete shodd preferably be at the point of placing and the cubes should be stored as far as possible under the same conditions as the concrete in the members.
