Well "Ratification" is the legal term such denotes the agency that arises whether a person adopts a transaction that someone had concluded to him as his agent although without his express authority.  Thus the person who such adopts the transaction becomes there a principal as whether he had initially authorised it like i.e. the ratification is said to be such retrospective P: like; Bolton Partners v. Lambert.
