Professional e-mail task, English

The deadline for your English research project is today. You will not be able to submit it today however because you have been looking after your younger brothers and sisters for the past week. Your parents were in Germany. Ask me if you can submit the project at the end of next week and explain why. Offer to produce a letter from your parents confirming they were abroad.

  • Send a 'professional' e-mail to me.
  • 80 words maximum not more

Marking criteria:

1. Subject is clear

2. Appropriate greeting and ending

3. The first sentence clearly presents the problem. It is followed by an explanation. Short sentences must be used.

4. The tone is polite

5. Grammar and spelling count - there can be no mistakes!
