Obtain the original Lee and Kessler (generalized correlation) paper from AIChE Journal. You should:

a) obtain a copy of the complete article and submit it with your exam paper,

b) carefully read the article. In this endeavor you should (1) briefly skim through the article; (2) read the article thoroughly the second time; and (3) go back to the article later for any additional information needed.

Prepare a brief (two page maximum) memo carefully critiquing the attached article. Make sure to note the major theme of the article (what is new here?). Also tell what in this paper relates to what we have learned in class. Finally, is the contribution made in the paper you obtained a major contribution or just a fine tuning of some earlier work?
