Objects of the Law Society

Whereas under sec 4 of the Act society object as established are as:

  1. For maintain and improve the standards of learning and conduct of the legal profession in US.
  2. For facilitate acquisition of legal knowledge through members of the legal profession and others.
  3. For assist the government and administration and the courts in all matters affecting legislation of law in US.
  4. For represent, protect and well assist members of the legal profession with respect of the conditions overactive and otherwise
  5. For protect and assist the public in all matters touching or incidental to law
  6. For acquire hold, develop or may dispose of moveable or immovable property
  7. For raise or borrow money to its objectives
  8. For invest and deal by monies of the society
  9. For do all other things incidents to or conclusive to the attainment of its objects.
