Material handling is a very significant process in working place. The materials are handled in not finished, semi finished and finished states. Large varieties of material handling equipments are used. The main risks are involved during shifting, suspending and moving suspended material. If the material is in molten state the risks is further multiplied. The equipment employed is:

  • Powered trucks
  • Overhead and
  • Gantry cranes
