logic gate-OR gate 

Figure shows the symbol that represents a 2 input OR gate together with its truth table. This gate will adopt a 1 state at its output terminal when either input A or B or both are at the 1 state. This function can be represented by two switches A and B connected in parallel. Because this gate also performs the AND function (i.e. 1.1 = 1) it is often referred to as an INCLUSIVE OR gate.
