Identify by mean of biochemical tests, Biology

Assignment Help:

The human blood group, related to the MN system is controlled by two alleles, S and s. Three distinct phenotypes can be identified by mean of biochemical tests. Among 1000 Britishers who gave the MN data, the numbers found of each genotype in the SS system were 99SS, 418Ss, and 483ss. Estimate the allele frequencies of S(p) and s(q) and carry out a Chi-square test of goodness to fit between the observed genotype frequencies and their H-W expectations. Is there any reason to reject the hypothesis of H-W equilibrium for this gene in this population?
