This model of development merges the features of prototyping model as well as waterfall model. The spiral model is utilized for large and expensive and complicated project.

  • It Presented by BARRY BOHEM in late 1986 incorporating the project risk factor.
  • Designed in order to conquer the demerits of waterfall model.
  • The radial dimension represents the collective cost acquired in accomplishing the steps done therefore far as well as the angular dimension represents the progress made in completing every cycle of the spiral.
