Q. Explain about common addressing modes?

Most of machines use a set of addressing modes.

The following tree displays common addressing modes:

However what are applications/uses of these addressing modes? 

In general not all of the above modes are employed for all applications. But some of the common areas where compilers of high-level languages use them are:
