Describe the three levels of data abstraction, Operating System

There are three kinds of Data Abstraction:

  • Physical level: The minimum level of abstraction defines how data are saved.
  • Logical level: The next bigger level of abstraction, defines what data are saved in database and what relationship among those data.
  • View level: The biggest level of abstraction defines only part of whole database
