Cooling of storage tanks:
A research involving using a bench top scale wind tunnel to investigate heat losses from storage tanks. A series of small scale model tanks have been fabricated and you will be required to carry out experiments to investigate how different wind flows affect the rate of heat loss from said tanks. You will also conduct a literature survey to uncover the extant knowledge in this field with particular reference being paid to mathematical models of said processes. If time allows you will be required to learn fluent a computational fluid dynamics package and use it to develop models to simulate the experimental data.
What is heat treatment and why is it done? Heat treatment can be described as a combination of operations or processes in which cooling and heating of an alloy or metal is done
