The Central Processing Unit : Central Processing Unit (CPU) is the brain of the computer. The intricate electronic circuitry of the CPU performs the computer's tasks of handling data.
It is composed of
i) The Arithmetic Logic Unit or ALU, which computes mathematical functions, like addition, subtraction, multiplication and division
