Why is Berns in favor of capital punishment?

Without the death penalty, citizens will perceive the government as weak.

It is the most powerful deterrent for others thinking of committing crimes.

The death penalty takes criminals off the street permanently, and creates a safer community, which should be the main concern for everyone.

We should make criminal punishment as powerful as we can, because it reflects the rules that are absolutely necessary for living together as human beings.
