- What company will you research and what makes it interesting from an Operations Management perspective?
- What do you already know about this topic and what research questions do you expect to answer?
- What kinds of sources (for example, company website, annual report, government websites, and library articles) do you plan to use for research?

Project Overview
For your course project, you will be researching an organization of your choice and applying key concepts that you are learning to that organization. You will begin by providing an overview of the organization and then detailing four specific aspects of its operations. Some topics to consider are facility layouts, process, inventory management, quality standards, logistics, and/or operational improvement initiatives. You will also consider the organization's operational challenges in overseas markets. An evaluation of these topics will provide you with an increased awareness of operations management and its applications within an organization
Requirements- this will be completed throughout all 4 weeks- not this paper alone that is being required now.
Your final paper must 7 - 8 pages long besides a cover page and a reference page. It should demonstrate a strong thesis statement supported by research from at least 3 scholarly sources. Both a references page and in text citations must be in APA format.
Your paper should include the following:
• A brief description of the organization and industry they selected
- At least four key concepts relevant to Operations Management in your organization
- An explanation of how these elements directly relate to Operations Management
- An analysis of how these concepts work together to resolve business problems
- An analysis of how these (4) concepts reflect effective management and efficiency
- An evaluation of operations concerns in global markets
- An evaluation of corporate social responsibility issues with regards to quality and industry standards.
