One evening after several drinks, David wrote a contract on a restraint bill in which he agreed to sell his farm to Paul for 250,000. David later insisted that he had been intoxicated and thought the matter was a joke, not realizing that Paul had been serious. Paul claimed that he was not intoxicated and believed that David was also sober. David testified that he was already high as a kite when he began drinking with Paul. he claimed that he was merely bluffing to try to get Paul to admit that he did not actually have 250,000. David refuses to transfer the property and Paul brings suit. what result, and why?
