You are asked to:

Remember to choose articles that have been written within the last six months and that pertain to the course content (violence against adult women partners).

- submit an online link to or scanned copy of one article (include the name of the publication, the article, the date, author, etc)

- write a summary (no more than 350 words) of the article that captures all of the important details while omitting unnecessary information, and presents the important information so that the summary reads very logically and coherently.

- write an informative and original analysis/response that demonstrates a high level of understanding of the issues and perspectives raised in the article. Students should use specific information from the article to explain and support almost all or all stated opinions, ideas, and reactions. I'll be looking for evidence of critical thinking that is demonstrated through your insight about woman abuse, and the impact of sexism, racism, and other factors on women's ability to escape that abuse. Your response should be very clearly and logically organized with hardly any/no language convention errors for full marks.
