You state at the beginning of your discussion post that business research is done in order to provide managers with adequate information so they can make a decision regarding performance. Would you say it is fair to say scientific research has a general aspiration of also providing adequate information, but not usually regarding performance? When I think of scientific research, I think of lab classes that I took in my undergrad to try and distinguish certain cells.
