Find a doctor, is a small startup that helps people find a physician that best meets their needs ( location, insurance accepted). During a slow time for them, tehy have 7 staff embers taking calls from customers. On average, one call arrives every 7 minutes ( with a standard deviation of 7). Each staff member spends 40 minutes with each customer. (on average, standard deviation of 80). How long in minutes does a customer spend on averagge waiting on hold before they can start speaking to a representative from Find a doctor?
