The purpose of this article was to know the educational adaptations and strategies to teach children having impaired hearing. For example, there should be a minimal distance between the teacher and the child to ease lip-reading. Also, good environment in the classroom helps the child learn successfully. Rephrasing with additional words relevant to what you said can give cues and help a child understand the speech because, in rephrasing, we use words that are central to the main idea of the communication.
