A mixer is used in a short-wave super heterodyne receiver. The receiver is designed to receive transmitted signals between 5 and 25 MHz. High-side tuning is to be used. Determine the tuning range of the local oscillator for IF frequencies varying between 400 kHz and 2 MHz. Plot the ratio defined by the tuning range over this range of IF frequencies as in Table 3.1.

Derive a state table for a mealy sequential circuit

A mealy sequential circuit has one input (x) and one output (z). Z = 1 if and only if the most recent input, combined with the preceding 3 inputs, was not a valid BCD encoding of a decimal digit; otherwise, z = 0.

Determine the common-mode gain and the cmrr

The noise signal is measured to be 1.35 V. The output difference signal is 3.95 V and the common-mode output signal is0.95 mV. Determine the common-mode gain, the differential mode gain, the CMRR, and the CMR (in dB) for the amplifier.

Determine what is the perimeter of the rectangular field

A farmer measures the perimeter of a rectangualr field. The length of each long side of the rectangle is found to be 38.44 m, and thelength of each short side is found to be 19.5 m. What is theperimeter of the field
