Although oil is no longer shipped in this manner, the unit of barrels is still used as a measure of volume. A tanker delivers a shipment of 1200 barrels of oil. The oil has a specific gravity of 0.825 at 60°F. Determine the shipment weight in pounds and US tons. Use US units.
