Invent and describe two additional selective hypotheses for the relative hairlessness of humans. You must describe how each of your hypotheses explain the reduced amount of hair; i.e., what causes an increase in fitness for individuals with less hair than others.
Now you have 4 hypotheses (+ a non-selective one if we are being complete) for a total of 5. Create an experiment, observation or comparative study to test one of these hypotheses. Clearly describe your study subjects and conditions, the data that you will collect (i.e., what values are measured), and which observable patterns would support your hypothesis and which would not.
Hypothesis 1: Humans are hairless because of male preference for less and less hairy females
Hypothesis 2: Humans are hairless because of thermoregulation on the African savannah
Hypothesis 5: There is no selective reason as to why humans are hairless.
So need to create hypothesis 3 and 4. For one of these two hypothesis (that you created for relative hairlessness of humans) create an experiment, observation or comparative study to test hypothesis.

Crossover events may occur between two loci but are undetected due to a double-crossover event. Explain what a double crossover is and how they might cause problems for geneticists. How many types of double crossovers are possible between two dihy..
In a separate study, authors showed that deletion of FtsH restores CII following heat induction, but not following SOS (DNA damage) induction. Would you expect CII to be stabilized or activated during DNA damage? Briefly explain why.

PKU (phenylketonuria) is an enzyme deficiency disease that only develops in individuals who are homozygous recessive for that gene. An individual with PKU has parents that do not have this disease.

Belding's ground squirrels live in colonies. One of the advantages of living in a colony is that predation is decreased because individual squirrels will give alarm calls when a predator approaches the colony. Explain why this behavior of giving a..
If the light-dependent reactions in photosynthesis produce ATP and the mitochondria produce ATP during respiration, why do cells in the leaves of plants have both mitochondria and chloroplasts.
In "Chardakov method for water potential measurement" experiment, you find that 0.30 M solution has not been changed by water loss or absorption by the potato in it. Determine the osmotic potential in Mpa of this solution (0.25 M = -5.75 Bars).
