About:

The basic consideration for implementing ERP in any organization is the advantage that the system provides in information supply by exhibiting the data of the organization. One of the several major outcomes of ERP is the ease with which the manager can obtain data by integrating the data sources using ERP.

Hence the process integration is obviously one of the prior and basic requirement for ERP implementation. Implementation will naturally require both the internal and external process integration. External processes are equally important in the ERP integration context as internal integration.

For effective functioning of ERP it should be integrated with both the internal and external processes like Supply chain systems, CRM, Knowledge management, B2B exchange and other e-commerce storefront on the internet.
