Business Management/ Create an employee empowerment website for GDD using GOOGLE SITES.
Theme One: How do you empower people? The student should differentiate motivation from empowerment. It might also be useful to go back to week one and review the idea that motivating followers is really a better tool for the manager rather than the leader because it can be specific in nature and answer an intrinsic or extrinsic need of the follower. Empowerment is the tool of choice for the leader primarily because it must be insured through the organizational structure and culture. The leader is creating structural empowerment and building trust to keep the vision and future clear for forward motion.
1. Create an employee empowerment website for GDD using GOOGLE SITES. This site should address at least 5 of the following: a) Motivation, (b) Empowerment, (c) Trust, (d) Influence, (e) Power, (f) Authority, and (g) Engagement.
2. Identify a overarching empowerment challenge based on what you know about Andrew Rockfish and GDD.
3. Then create a list of GDD strategies and actions to address these challenge through the lens of your selected 5 areas. Remember, be specific about actions GDD takes. Support those actions with knowledge from course materials.
4. Add content (text and media) that helps site visitors understand your collective stance on the selected leadership areas.
5. You can use videos, comics, URLs, social media posts, music, movie clips, infographics, or any type of content you choose.
6. You may not re-use content from this course in its entirety, however, you may use charts, graphs, tables, or paraphrased statements from course materials as long as proper citations are provided.
7. Give your site a title that communicates your overall leadership message.
