Discuss the following:
1) The difference between crime mala in se, such as murder, rape, incest - they are wrong everywhere, always; and crimes mala prohibita, such as gambling, prostitution, underage drinking, and other so-called 'victimless crimes' - they are wrong only because a particular society has defined them that way.

2) Consider the practice of homosexuality. Thirty years ago it was recognized as criminal and a diagnosable mental disorder, but it is no longer viewed as such. Groups should address the following question:

- What might be the reasons for the change in cultural perceptions about homosexual practices?

- Do you believe that homosexuality represents behavior that should be defined as mala in se?
