A shop works a 400-minute day. The manager of the shop wants an output of 200 units per day for the assembly line that has the elemental tasks shown in the table.

Do the following:

a. construct the precedence diagram

b. calculate the cycle time

c. calculate the theoretical minimum number of work stations. What is the minimum number of stations possible?

d. assign tasks to work stations using the greatest positional weight as the assignment rule with a tiebreaker of longest operation time.
