History
•The earlier University of Lincolnshire and Humberside became University of Lincoln in the year 2001.
•The Lincoln campus was opened officially by HRH The Queen in the year 1996.
Location and transport
•There are three campuses in Lincoln, one in Hull and one in Holbeach.
•Lincoln has train services to London, Newcastle, Birmingham, and more. The A1 is linked to Lincoln via the A46.
•In Lincoln, everything this safe and student-friendly city has to offer is within walking distance of the main campus.
Eligibility criteria
•The undergraduate courses varies from 240 to 320 points.
•The minimum requirement for it is three GCSEs at grade C or above, including English Language.
•The university welcomes applications from students who may not have the required academic qualifications, but who are able to show the work experience or learning that is relevant, current and appropriate.
Teaching standards
•The university received the top most commendation possible in its most recent QAA audit.
•The central aim of its Teaching and Learning Strategy 2007–2012 is to produce independent, enquiring, knowledgeable graduates.
•A key role of the University's Centre for Educational Research and Development is to enhance the teaching and learning experience for staff and students.

•The National Centre for Food Manufacturing at Holbeach is recognized internationally as the centre of excellence in training, education and research in food production sector.
Students' union
•In November in the year 2007 the Student Opportunities, Activities and Participation Centre (SOAP) opened and houses AU, The Education and Welfare Officers and Community Volunteers in one centre.
•The Athletic Union takes care of all the union's sports clubs and societies - they range from American football to karate.
Sport
•The Sports and Recreation Centre has the best facilities in county including a gym, dance studio, football, pitches squash courts, and basketball courts.
