•The University has one of the highest National Student Survey rankings in country, being in top ten since the survey began. In the year 2010, the University came eighth for Overall Satisfaction and fourth for Teaching in UK.
Research standards
•The University’s success at securing external funding extends to funding for the postgraduate students, like the new South West Doctoral Training Centre from Economic and Social Research Council, one of the 21 such centres nationally.
•The Universities increasing strength in science and technology is reflected by doubling of the awards granted from BBSRC every year.
Academic strengths
•Around 90 per cent of Exeter's research was rated as being at internationally recognised levels in the latest Research Assessment Exercise.
