This assignment is part of a series of assignments. The objective is a research paper w/annotated bibliography. The topic is to choose a terrorist organization or group that presents a significant threat to the U.S. homeland. The paper should come from a Anti-Terrorism/Homeland Security perspective.
What I'm looking for right now is a Research Paper Plan which contains the Topic, Thesis, Research Questions and Key References. I'm looking for about 10 annotated citations to be used in this assignment. Attached is an example of how I need the annotated bibliography to look. The main topic is the organization HAMAS. If you feel it would be easier to change the topic from HAMAS to an easier topic, please let me know and we can work something out.
Below was the first assignment to identify the topic and include some sources that I plan to be using. Maybe it will help, maybe it wont, but I figured that I would include it. If you have any questions, I'm available at all times and will respond within 15 minutes at most.

The threat Hamas poses to the West is not fundamentally different from the threat posed by ISIS and its branches. Both organizations seek to overthrow the pro-Western regimes in the Middle East, eject Western influence from the region, and establish an Islamic caliphate to wage holy war (jihad) against the West and Christianity, which are considered the cardinal enemies of Islam. The rise of radical Islam in the Middle East, and the creation of the caliphate and other Islamic "emirates" (official and de facto) along with the toppling of existing governments, could gradually foster the conditions leading to a jihad front against Western interests and allies.
