Reheat is added to an ideal Rankine steam power cycle to improve it’s efficiency and turbine exit quality. Steam enters the HP turbine at 15 MPa and 600C. Steam exits the HP turbine at 4 MPa and enters the boiler for reheat. Then the steam enters the LP turbine at 600C. Condenser pressure is 10 kPa. Assume pump efficiency is 90% and turbine efficiency is 88% (for both turbines).
