Q. The human circulation flows at the rate of 5 l/min (5 liters/min) at a mean (constant) arterial pressure of 100 mmHg, and at a mean venous pressure of 2 mmHg. Recall that human circulatory system is closed such that flow at any one point is the same. Suppose the right atrium has a pressure of 0 mmHg.

a) What is the hydraulic conductance of the arterial side? Be sure to show your calculation and to include units in the answer.

b) What is the hydraulic conductance of the venous side? Be sure to show your calculation and to include units in the answer.
