The Following information is to help you understand more about the internship.

Projected Experiences and Goals :

I plan to accomplish the following goals during my internship:

I. I will review classroom assessment practices at school and teaching and learning process including lesson plans.

II. I will participate in classroom testing process with class teachers, test administration to improve learning process.

III. I will conduct various classroom tests in given content areas.

IV. I will explore challenges faced by teachers in developing their lessons and measuring student learning outcomes.

V. I will pursue teaching and learning practices in the school by observing teachers in their classrooms, assisting them to plan and develop various learning activities in science and mathematics especially.

VI. I will develop academic reports for parents from classroom assessment data.

These are four learning objectives of the internship:

1. Helping the teachers to administer various classroom tests to students for examining academic achievement, psychological well being and academic motivation.

2. Helping the collecting and compiling data of various classroom tests teacher use on day to day basis examining students learning and academic achievement.

3. Assisting teachers in writing classroom tests and standardized tests data-based reports for students and their parents

4. Helping teachers to develop their lesson plans according to Blooms taxonomy, writing objectives and measuring students' outcomes.

Topic #10

FINAL PAPER: Write a 5-7 page paper.In the final paper, you will be discussing your accomplishments and critically analyzing your experience from the perspective of the conclusion of the internship. Include:

Part 1 - Critically analyze what you learned during the internship by addressing the following:

• What did you learn about yourself?

• What did you learn about your employer and your job as an intern?

• What were the most valuable aspects of the internship experience?

• What did you learn about the value of your education in preparing you (or not preparing you) for the internship?

• What did you learn about the occupation or profession in which you were working? What was the organizational/project/industry culture like?

• Would you recommend this type of internship to your peers in educational psychology? Why or why not?

Part 2 - Reflect on your internship experience and think about how it will have an impact on your future by addressing:

• Now that the internship is complete, what would you have done differently?

• How does the internship experience fit into your long-range career goals? How did your career goals change (or not) as a result of the internship experience?

• How will you maintain or foster professional relationships that will aid your future career development?

Part 3 - Identify how you, your internship supervisor, the organization/project, the internship syllabus, and your internship instructor could have made this a better experience.

FINAL EMPLOYER EVALUATION

Directions to Internship Supervisor: This form is designed to help the student understand how his/her performance is perceived. Please feel free to assess/comment on other aspects of the intern's performance that may not be reflected on this form. Please meet briefly with the student to discuss your evaluation.

1. What technical skills did the student contribute to your organization/project?

2. What personal and professional attributes did the student demonstrate -- e.g., leadership, team player, organizational, work ethic?

UNIVERSITY PREPARATION

3. If you were able to contribute suggestions regarding academic curriculum for students, what would they be based on your experiences with the student intern?

4. In what way has your company/project benefited by having the student intern?

ORGANIZATIONAL CULTURE

5. Did the student understand the goal of the organization/project and his/her role in its success?

6. How did the student measure up to existing employee standards? If a job were available when the student graduates, would you offer a full-time position?

7. As an experienced professional in a field related to this student's area of study, you have valuable insight into what is required to be successful on the job. What advice would you give that would contribute to his/her preparation for a chosen career?

Topic #9

In half a page to one page.

1. REACTION TO EVALUATION: Write your reaction to the final evaluation. Does the evaluation correspond with your own perception of your performance? What aspects of your performance do you assess as areas for growth, and what were your strengths?
